Become a Healer and a Leader in the Light
Initiation and healer training in Edina and the Twin Cities, from the unbroken lineage of King Salomon the Wise. This path helps you become less reactive to the world around you, more balanced and calm, clear and focused, and it expands your capacity to hold Light and to serve.
Crystal Healing Fair & Holiday Market
Our free annual open house, with crystal healings by our practitioners, a holiday market, and mini-workshops. Every dollar raised goes to the YouthLink Santa Shop.
Is this you?
- You sense you're here for something more, and you want to know what it is.
- You've done a lot of healing, and now you feel called to help others heal.
- You want to stay steady and clear while the world around you moves fast.
- You have a mission, and you're looking for real tools to carry it out.
Then you may have found your way to the Mystery School for a reason. For thousands of years, this lineage has trained leaders, healers, artists, and visionaries to fulfill their purpose and serve humanity.
What changes when you walk this path
Before you can hold space for anyone else, you learn to hold it for yourself. The tools and initiations of this lineage work on you first.
Less Reactive
You respond to the world around you instead of being pulled along by it.
Balanced & Calm
A steady center that holds through pressure, change, and other people's storms.
Clear & Focused
You see what is yours to do, and you put your energy there.
Expanded Capacity
Each initiation expands your capacity to hold more Light, giving you greater awareness and more energy for what you choose to create.
As that steadiness grows, you discover greater joy, strength and capability to go beyond what you ever thought was possible.
That is where healing others and leading in the Light begins.
From your first activation to leading others
The Modern Mystery School is a path of initiation. Each step builds on the one before it, and you move at the pace that's right for you.
-
Where most people begin. An energy balancing and DNA activation that turns on your spiritual blueprint, creating greater connection between your spirit and your physical body and fertile ground for positive growth and change.
-
A two-day program and your first initiation into the Lineage of King Salomon. You receive rituals to harness more light and energy, tools for recognizing where you get in your own way, and an initiation that expands your capacity to hold 10x more Light.
-
Five days of training in a Healer Temple and your second initiation. You receive deep core healing and become a certified Life Activation Practitioner, able to offer Life Activation, Aura Healing, and the MAX Meditation System™ to clients. You complete the foundational prerequisite trainings here in the Twin Cities, then attend Healers Academy at an international program.
-
The teachings are passed from teacher to student, and in time the student becomes the teacher. Advanced trainings such as Teachers Academy, and the path to becoming a Guide who shares the Light through initiation, are offered at Modern Mystery School International programs.
-
The way of the spiritual warrior. Following the Hermetic maxim “As within, so without,” Ritual Masters learn to master their inner world to create positive change in the world around them, uniting the Will with Love so they can be a source of Light for others. This optional path is open by application to certified practitioners, with trainings such as Warriors of Light offered at Modern Mystery School International programs.
-
The heart of deeper study here is the year-long Universal Hermetic Ray Kabbalah program, beginning in Minnesota in October 2027: working with your Divine blueprint to truly know yourself. Alongside it, you can train locally in Sacred Geometry Level 2: Crystal Healing Practitioner Training and complete the foundational trainings that prepare you for Healers Academy and other advanced trainings offered at the International Modern Mystery School programs in Toronto and London.
A community that walks with you
Initiation is the beginning of a lifelong path, and no one walks it alone. Here in the Twin Cities, we have a beautiful community of people who nurture the Light, joy and peace within. We learn together, and support one another as the path unfolds. Throughout the month we gather for MAX meditation, Full Moon meditations, prayer night, Wicca ceremonies to mark the turning of the year, and initiate gatherings, with experienced teachers to guide you at every step.

An unbroken lineage, lived today
The Modern Mystery School carries the lineage of King Salomon the Wise, an initiatory tradition whose purpose is the ancient Hermetic decree to Know Thyself. Its teachings have been passed from teacher to student for thousands of years, and they're taught here as practical tools you experience directly, not as theory.
The lineage is held today by the Third Order: Founder and Hierophant Gudni Gudnason, Sovereign Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome, and Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon.
Genevieve Wachutka
Senior Guide · CEO, Modern Mystery School Minneapolis–St. Paul
Genevieve is a senior Guide in the Modern Mystery School with nearly fifteen years on the path. At international programs she found a unity and joy she wanted the Twin Cities to have too, so in 2019 she sold her Minneapolis business to build it here.
Action-oriented by nature, she has grown Modern Mystery School Minneapolis–St. Paul into a community of initiates, healers, and teachers with a home of its own in Edina. She teaches Empower Thyself, facilitates international programs such as Kabbalah and advanced Sacred Geometry training, and provides ongoing support for the local community. For ten years she also worked alongside Ipsissima Dr. Theresa Bullard-Whyke, including on the Mystery Teachings series.
“When I think of Genevieve, I think of community, because I know and see what a pillar she is to those around her.”Courtney L., initiate

What students experience on the path
Every healer and teacher in our community started where you are now.
If you truly want to take control of your life, if you have a calling to heal, be it people, animals, or the planet, this is the place to begin. Empower Thyself helped me strengthen my belief in myself and unleash the potential within me. It was definitely a natural continuation of the Life Activation session.
Initiate
Through her patience, listening, and gentle questions, Genevieve helped me identify the aspirations I've always carried. It has greatly helped me in working with others. Conflicts are easier to navigate, anxieties are faced with calmness, and my goals aren't daunting. They are gifts I now get the opportunity to pursue.
Initiate
From the Empower Thyself program, regular one-on-one check-ins, and guided meditations to the Kabbalah program, Genevieve's guidance has been a constant light and source of wisdom and joy. She creates a space where one can truly dig into self-work, free of judgement.
Initiate & Kabbalah student
Universal Hermetic Ray Kabbalah
Kabbalah is the study of the God essence within humans.
Over a year together, you work with your Divine blueprint to truly know yourself. It is the #1 tool for eliminating the subconscious programming that creates separation from living as your God self.
Genevieve will facilitate the program here in Minnesota, beginning in October 2027. Empower Thyself is the prerequisite, so there's time to begin now.
